How to have a fun weekend

Don’t have anything fun to do in the weekends? Well I’ve got a few ideas here for you to try out. Read on to find out more. I hope this helps you have a tremendous weekend.

Bring a friend or more over to play with: Play games with them
Go play outside with them or go to a theme park. Playing with a friend can really help boost your mood. Having a friend around is great because now you won't be lonely.

Go watch a movie at home or at the cinema. Eat some junk food and all that unhealthy stuff.
(If you can’t afford to go to the movies then watch a movie at home)
(If you don’t have any movies at home then act one out) (Do a play)

Go to the beach with your family and friends. Maybe just friends even. Go swimming or build something from clay or sand. Maybe just do what you think is fun to do at the beach. What do you like to do at the beach?

Can you think of anymore ways to have a fun weekend? Well I hope this helps you and that you can show others how to have a fun weekend. You can even make up your own ideas of how to have a fun weekend. Well that's me, Ka kite ano

Explanation Reconstruction

WALT - Identify the structural features of an explanation text

This is my post about How glass bottles are made. You're probably wondering, "Whats the point of this?"
Well room 1 literacy class and I had to reconstruct the story about how glass bottles are made. This writing is called explanation writing. Mr Wiseman which is our literacy teacher had already written about it but had mixed them up. So what we had to do was put each paragraph in order. This is how I put mine in order.

Maths: Word Problems

WALT -  Illustrate (draw/show) the steps we used to solve each problem

This week room 5 maths are learning how to show/draw the steps we used to solve a maths problem. Here is my showing of how i figured out 264 - 92. It's really easy to solve and show how I/you worked it out. My question was: A train has 264 people on it. 92 people get off the train at the next stop. So how many people are on the train now? My answer was 164. I used and algorithm, which was much easier.

WALT -  Illustrate (draw/show) the steps we used to solve each problem
This week room 5 maths will be learning to draw or show the steps we used to solve each equation/problem.
This presentation is about the different ways we can think about a number in many different ways. We went on a site that generates a number and the number that you/we got and then you/we make it as a problem and solve it.
